June, 1927.

6 Monday. Fine day. Ella did her washing and cleaned up the washhouse. The men fixed the pasture field fence this morning and this p.m. Walter was drawing manure and Vernon plowed.

7 Tuesday. Fine day. Ella cleaned the dairy, boiled Grandpa's soap for the third time and transplanted her stocks. The men were drawing manure and plowing. Otto Miller & Norman visited us last night and Noah Miller tonight. Walter & Jno. Stange spent the evening at Jno's place.

8 Wednesday. Wonderful morning. Sultry and thunderstorms all day. Ella went to the District S. S. Convention at North East Hope with Ed. Bender's and had her dinner & suppoer at the Jno. Mohr's. We came home in a succession of thunderstorms but managed to keep dry.

9 Thursday. Sultry with thundershowers all day. Walter shipped hogs and cleaned up the slaughterhouse. Callers - Edwin & Wilfrid Thur and Mr. & Mrs. Wesley Miller.
