June, 1927

14 Tuesday. Fair and cool. Walter & Vernon were plowing corn ground. Walter & Ella went to choir practice tonight.

15 Wednesday. Fair and cool. The men were plowing & rolling. Walter & Ella went to League and practice tonight.

16 Thursday. Fair and cool. Walter shipped hogs this morning. They were plowing. Ella went to practice tonight to play for the Bethel quartette. We had an ice cream party at Harvey Schmidt's in honour of Earl's fifth wedding anniversary. Edna, Lois and Howard visited us today and were here for dinner. Other callers - Jonas Basinger and Mr. Dunn.

17 Friday. Fine day. The men were plowing corn ground. Ella went to practice with Irvin & Annie

18 Saturday. SHowery. The men disked and harrowed the corn ground. We went to Elmira, to Angus Weber's tonight to practice a quartette.
