June, 1927.

24 Friday. Fair. The men prepared the ground and sowed the turnips today Edna brought Aunt Barbara (Mrs. Sitler, of Alliance, Alberta) down here this p.m.

25 Saturday. Sultery. Thunderstorms and rain. Cooler tonight. The men sowed some more of the flax. The Union S.S. picnic was postponed on accouunt of the rain. We took Aunt Barbara down to Grandpa's tonight. Walter went to Creekbank tonight.

26 Sunday. Fine, cool day. We went to church & S. School this morning and went to Alec Wagner's for dinner and to Lincoln Weaver's for tea.

27 Monday. Lovely day. The men finished sowing the flax and were plowing buckwheat ground. Ella did her washing and picked a few berries in Schwindt's bush this afternoon. Callers were - Norman Miller, Jno. Stange, and Wesley Miller. Vernon went over to Reist's tonight to get the buckwheat and Walter went to Creekbank.
