August, 1927
1 Monday. Changeable. Walter, Ella & Vernon were picking raspberries in Reist's bush this morning. This p.m. they finished hoeing the mangels.
2 Tuesday. Lovely cool day. Ella did her washing and the men were hoeing turnips. Callers - Ernie Bridge, Wm. Stewart & Noah Miller.
3 Wednesday. Lovely day. The men hoed turnips all day and finished them. Ella picked beries in Reist's bush. Our callers tonight - Mr & Mrs. Louis Miller, Mr Arthur Snyder, Wilma & Dorothy of Glen Bay, Ont.
4 Thursday. Fine day. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira and they were plowing. Our visiters tonight - Eph Synder & Arthur Thomas.
5 Friday. Fair. Walter took a load of grist to Floradale this a.m. and started cutting the wheat this afternoon.
6 Saturday. Fine warm day. Walter finished cutting the wheat today and Vernon & Charles {Koeplew?} stocked it. Ella's visitors this afternoon. Esther, Ruth, Margaret and Orpha Miller & Annie Schneider. Annie brought me a crockful of lovely raspberries.
