August, 1927. 13 Saturday. Fair. Showers last night Walter helped to thresh at Elmo King this p.m. Colon came up for tea and Edith, Roy, Lois and Sonny went home with him.

14 Sunday. Sultry this morning. Very cool by tonight. We went to church & S.School this morning then went to Charle Holland's near Cometog for dinner & supper. Ella went to Church at Cometog with Charlie & Ida.

15 Monday. Fair and very cool. THe men were scuffling corn & {oats?} today. We were at Louis Miller's tonight.
