September, 1927

14 Thursday Wednesday. Sultry. Walter sowed the wheat. We went to the opening of the new wing at the Creamery tonight. The programme was good and the ice cream excellent.

15 Thursday. Very hot and sultry. Walter shipped hogs this a.m. They were plowing.

16 Friday. Hot. The men were plowing.

17 Saturday. Sultry. Walter took a load of grist to Floradale. Vernon went fishing with Colson & Ray. They were all here for tea.

18 Sunday. Hot & threatening. We went to church & S. School. Ezra, Berta & Vera Gowing were here for tea.

19 Monday. Cold & windy. Showers We went to the School Fair at Alma this afternoon. We went to Otto Miller's for supper & the evening.

20 Tuesday. Cold & windy. Showers. Walter & Ella went to Kitchener today had their dinner at Hilliard's and supper at Jefferson's.

21 Wednesday. Fine cool day. The men plowing. Walter went to practice & prayer meeting tonight.

22 Thursday. Cool. Walter shipped hogs. Vernon was cultivating. Walter went to Elmira Mennonite church with Eph. Snyder's tonight.
