concluded not to go & there Jim I drove M.W. & A home so we or we were going to tell Annie & Arthur we couldn't go & got M.W. & Ad at Brays so Annie & Arthur came home over to see if we had gone or not but wouldn't stay 1 min. Ida & I drove to Bronte after tea for sugar & I made a little taffy. Wes doctoring his horse Frank angry because I got him to hitch horse for the girls trying to write in this but had to wait till all in bed and it after 11 to bed.

Frid 6th../85 Jan Feb. After work done, I dressed my self & cracked some nuts for Ad. Then Wes & I drove her up to station & also to Bronte & come home as far as corner, met mail, so went back, but nothing, Ma bought candies. Ironing very busy & baking pies. I swept stairs & S. practising & Ida & I very busy after tea we played authors had good time.& to bed. Frank angry because didn't go but soon enough

Sat 7th.. Feb. Rather busy E.M. came home on noon train very nice day. M.L. M.W. went down to church & A. & I went at 4 down skating met Wes & E.M. coming back from dinner so they Wes drove us down, & he came back & got a pair of skates & came & stayed ½ hr. I had tooth ache & girls singing & to bed

Sun 8th.. Fed./85. Folks all went to church quartly meeting at 10. but Ida & I & Pa home. I had short nap & then dressed Ma & helped Ida with dinner. Got washed but ate no dinner but played. S & I done dishes. While
