Men choring and drawing out manure. Brock met me at night train. Horshel and Sadie here in evening. Mother up to Ray'sto see Harry. He sick ith flu. Fine bright day.

FRIDAY, 17

Me choring. finished drawing out manure and bought in a load of coe. Brok up to Rays in evening. Fine but not very bright. Had a leter from Betty saying that Robt. Alvies is dead.

SATURDAY, 18

Men choring and chopped nine bags in afternon. Brock and I to town at night. Bill
