March THURSDAY, 6

Done chores and finished drawing out manure. Then went back to bush and cut three logs. Beautiful bright day milder.

FRIDAY, 7

Da done chores. Brock to Moorefield with 7 pigs. At lunch in afternoon cutting logs. Brock took mother to six train. She gone to Guelph. Beautiful bright day.

SATURDAY, 8

Done chores and chopping. Back to bush and put on a load of logs. Brock took them to town and brought home the lumber. Da sifted ashes then went to bed about five. Feeling very misreable. Nellie telephoned to say mother was sick with the cold. Brock to town at night. Cold last wind. Started to storm about twelve o'clock.

SUNDAY, 9

Very stormy morning but mild. A great quantity of snow fell. Wind in the west after dinner. Da some better.
