August THURSDAY, 7

Men working at ditch all day. Brock, mother and Lillian at Presley. garden party. Cloudy in morning but brightened up.

FRIDAY, 8

Men working at ditch all day. To Pike Lake in afternoon with Ross & Florence. Fine and warm.

SATURDAY, 9

Got out binder and started harvest. Cut little patch of road on other place and barley on other place. We to town at night. Fine and warm.

SUNDAY, 10

Brock & I to Chatsworth with Harry. Roy's up too. Fine and warm.
