Monday, 11 Cutting grain on other place. Do shocking. Joe Kaplan here for 4 bags of potatoes @ 1.75. Fine and warm.

Tuesday, 12 Finished cutting on other place at noon. Then started in field next bruh and Jack's line fence in afternoon. Fine and breezy. Stanley Ellis's barn burned. Windmill set it on fire.

Wednesday, 13 Finished cutting down by Jack's line fence in forenoon. Then started back of maple tree in afternoon. Brock & I to town at night. Emerson Walker's barn burned. Gasoline engine set it on fire. Fine but very windy.
