Monday, 6

Started to plough at home this side of ditch and ploughing all day. Rather dull and cloudy in morning but turned out a bright day.

Tuesday, 7

Ploughing this side of ditch. Mother & I to town in afternoon. Fine but very cold wind.

Wednesday, 8

Ploughing on barley ground. Started about ten o’clock. Brock & I to Arthur show concert with Beth. Beautiful bright day. Finished this side of ditch in forenoon.
