October THURSDAY, 9

Ploughing for a short time in morning then came on rain and rained hard until four. Cleaning hen house and Chopping. Brock + I to dance at night. Warm evening.

FRIDAY, 10

Finished ploughing barely ground in morning and started on {illegible...studle?} next Jack's line fence. Ploughing until about 4.30 then a heavy thunder and rain storm. Brock took parcel to express to Clara. Very dull damp air and warm. Cooler to-wards night.

SATURDAY, 11

Ploughing next Jack's all day. I went to night train to meet Uncle Jim, Nellie + Lillian. Brock to town at night. Cool and cloudy.

SUNDAY, 12

At home all day. Uncle Jims here. Fine day.
