Thursday, 16

Unloaded corn. Da levelled clay along by ditch they ploughed in field west. Jack & Brock cleaning pens and ploughing until about five then at Watt’s threshing. I to town in morning for gasoline. Showery early. Then a heavy dull mist about noon. Dull and raw. Brock to town at night.

Friday, 17

Brock at Watt’s threshing until about 3 p.m. Da ploughing in forenoon and drawing in corn in afternoon. Fine bright day.

X Saturday, 18

Drawing in corn. Brock helping until noon then at Elwin’s threshing on Bell farm. We to town at night. Fine but cool.


Sunday, 19

Brock to church at night. Rather dull but a nice evening.
