Ploughing in corner field. Dull and little squalls of rain and almost snow.

Tuesday, 28


Ploughing in corner field. Finished about three o’clock and started to plough road behind low driving house. Terrible wind in forenoon, moderating in aft.

Wednesday, 29

Topping turnips and harrowing them out in forenoon. Brock chopped some. Drawing in turnips in afternoon. Mr. Elsworth of Alvins Harbor here all night. Fine bright day but cool wind.
