October THURSDAY, 30

Choring all day. Brock to Fred Wilson’s in afternoon. Ike Mc Isaac here in forenoon. Very rainy day. Foggy to-wards evening.

FRIDAY, 31

Men ploughing sod back of low driving house. Brock to town at night. Ma took me to morning train. I going to Elora. A little rain at times & mild.

November ALL SAINTS' DAY (Quebec) SATURDAY, 1

Finished ploughing sod behind low driving house in forenoon. Then taking in turnips in afternoon. Brock to town at night. I came home with him. Fine and colder.

SUNDAY, 1

Clara and Melville came about eleven o’clock. Fine and bright.
