November THURSDAY, 6

Topping and drawing in turnips all day. Mrs. Walker here in afternoon. Ma and I to town in morning. Dull and cloudy. cool wind Mr Henderson called in evening.

FRIDAY, 7

Finished the turnips by noon. Put on storm windows after dinner and finished ploughing mangel ground. Dull but dry. milder.

SATURDAY, 8

Started to plough back 14 ac. next Mc Ewings. Brock + I to town at night. Dull cool east wind Tabby one year dead.

SUNDAY, 9

Brock to church at night. Bright and warmer.
