  <td>Very fine day. The volunteers left this evening for Niagara, to camp. To butter 43. I called with Mifs Anne McLennan to see Mrs. Watson. There is a nice new side walk of three plank along Warren st. which adds to the appearance of the place. Murdy put Paris green on the potatoes. I saw two blossoms on them</td>

  <td>Murdy left for Glen Robertson, this morning. Mrs. Donald Roy & her grandaughter spent most of the day here. Annie McLennan (squire) spent the Afternoon & took tea. (Yesterday Pa. paid the Martintown butcher 57 cts, And bot  a soup Paid 20 cts) Birdie is cleaning the sitting room</td>
