| 3. | We are busy preparing for the District Council which meets here on the 4th & 5th. Got $2.00 from Murdy. Bot at McCrimmon 2..7 butter - 16 = 39, 10 lb sugar 50. 1 pail lard 30 1/4 gall molasses 12. 1 lb soda 5. 2 lb raisin 14 1/2 lb B. tea 20. 1/2 lb. G tea 15. 1 cake soap 5 1 can pumpkins he did not know the price Pa bot 4 yds of floor oil cloth 60. pr yds tick | 1.19 31 40 2.40 |
| 4 | Fine day. The first of the guests arrived in the person of Mr. Caskill from Van. K. Hill. And Bella & Jennett McLennan, And a Mr. Craig from the Front. They were here for dinner. A Rev Shaw of Nairn came to tea and to spend the night. We got 5 lbs of steak from Bousie. | |
