2. Monday. Frost and ice last night. Some flakes of snow this morning. Murdy went North today

5. Lovely day. Annie John paid Pa & 3.00 for two months rent. W.F. M.S. {Womens Foreign Mission Society}. met in vestry, my off To 41/2 lbs sugar 25. Made a few calls 25
6 Another lovely day. To roast 30, sausage 30. Pa bot some stuff for to paint oil, W. lead, Sp 7 Lizzie Tait spent the Afternoon And took tea Tea To two lbs butter 30 cts? Murdy came about 4 P.M. Jimie at 7. P.M. 60 50

8 A pretty large congregation. Rev. Langel at evening, off. 6
9. Very fine day. made a washing, raining, not heavily

11. Fine warm day. To corn broom 25. 1/2 gall molasses 25, To 2 loaves 10. 4 yds flannelette 24 cts, 1 spool thread 4 cts. Received some tea from Belgium 50 38
12 Rented house to John Pidgeon 1 corn broom 25
13. Friday. Our Sacrament will be on Sunday. Rer. John McKinnon of Cot St George preached today, a good sermon. Martintown butcher brought tallon 60 cts. steak 40 cts Weather is lovely. The youngsters are to have a taffy pull in the R. T's {Royal Templars} lodge tonight. Murdy got home
14. Another fine day, Rev. Leitch of St. Elms preached. To 2 lbs butter 50 cts. R. Roy's sale today Pa & Birdie went. bid on nothing.
15. Fine but cool wind. A large congregation. A good sermon from the pastor
16 Fine day. Was up early. Murdy went North. done a big washing. Called at Burgess at 7 . P.M.
17. Another fine day Mercury up to 74. To 1 pan br 20

18. Fine day. To sugar 25; 1 gall coal oil 20. Bot at McCrimmon's butter 50 cts yeast 5 cts. tick Killed two black hens. Mary D.R. came to stay all night
19. Lovely day. Thanksgiving. had preaching. Offr for the Cornwall General Hospital. Murdy and Jimie Brown went to Montreal to hear a grand opera. Lent Pa $100 of Fars for General H. Offr.
20. Fine day. Cold wind. Birdie slept at the Manse last night Mrs. Given & Mrs. Tate went to Montreal. The boys came home from Montreal well pleased with the opera. To 3 lb sausage
21 Hatty came today. And remained to dinner. Our boys & Birdie were at a C.E. entertain. at Pic Nic Grove last night. To 2 lbs butter. Killed two B. hens. Cold, hard frost 50
22 A large congregation for the time of year
23 Cold and raw in morning turned to rain. Jimie left for Ottawa
24 Pa & J.C. B went to Alexandria on legal business. To 5 lb steak from Beckstead 30 tick Mrs Kennedy's sale is going on today
25 Had a call from Mrs. Hamilton (Ann Stewart). went with her to call at Watsons, To two lb butter 50 Got Jimie coat & {Grip?}, he is off for Africa
26 Sent a letter to Quebec to Jimie. Very fine in forenoon, rain in afternoon Murdy went away this morning. Pa pulled the carrots

28 Rain. Murdy had a letter from Jimie.
29. Fine in Afternoon. There was no exchange of pulpits today, as announced last Sabbath. Murdy left for Quebech at 3.30 to see the Volunteers off
30. Very fine day. Made a washing
31. Murdy got home. Marion & I went to Flora Hughs. for butter, got none. To 1 lb butter 23. 6 oz charged
