14. Cold. This morning muary down to 12 above zero in the morning. It began to snow about 7 AM. A rumour around today that Buller & Clary relieved Ladysmith and took 10.000 prisoners. 7

15. The relief of Ladysmith not confirmed. To butter 45, molasses 25, sugar 25, mop stick 15.

16. Cold morning 4 below at 8:30. Still cold.

16. Today's star says Buler met with heavy losses. 11.00 men killed, wounded, and missing. 10 guns
