July 2d. News on Saturday the 30th June of a fire in the shipping at New York three hundred persons perished. burnt and drowned. In one vessel (the Saals) a greate number were down below and their exit was cut off, they stood at the portholes until the vessel sank. And they were drowned The three vessels were the Main, Bremen, And Saals. Twenty millions dollar worth of paper destroyed
