| 2 | Marion went for Birdie. This has been a very, fine day. | |
| 3. | Raw and cool. J.C. and wife came about 9. A.M. Pa not so well today. The village are decorating for Jimie. he is in Montreal. They don't want him here until Monday. | |

| 5 | Rain in Morning. We were told yesterday to decorate our home, that the address to Jimie would be read at home, So early, Murdy went and bot 19 yds red cotton 20 yds white cotton 9 cts pr yd 15 1/2 lbs roast 2 cts pr lb. 1.29. 2 pans bread 48.
Bird stripped the goods down the middle, And they looped it around the front and south side of the verandah. Murdy & the girls left for Lancaster. Marion went with Snider, Mrs. D. R and Kate came And Cousin Mary. And Lizzie Jimie and they fixed up a dinner. There was a fine reception. Jimie was presented with an address. |
