2.	Jimie got the cow. Libby Campbell, this morning, with a new he calf, took them home in evening. Killed the calf & skinned it then buried it. Very heavy rain last night some showers today. John McCrimmon 2d con was buried today at 3rd Con Cemetry. Pa went with Jack Sullivan Bobie Demoulin paid $200 for rent To steak & sausage 50. Pa & Birdie went to Gore. Pa had to go to Summerstown express office for a parcel of money from D. B. McLennan. To 5 lb butter from factory.
3	Fine day Rev K. M D. preached in afternoon a good sermon from 37 Chap Eze. dry bones
4	Birdie & Murdy went to spend the evening at Dr Falkners. I washed in forenoon.
5.	Murdy left for Moose Creek, took the Mocasson at Lancaster. Mrs Blacklo and Eliza called. And are going after making calls to remain with us over night. Mrs D.. Rogers called she leaves for home on Thursday. Birdie has her Sundy school class this afternoon {written in right margin} Sent Libbys milk to Factory
6	Fine day. Jimie cut and gathered some hay, yesterday. he is putting it in today, and had Ed. Pidgeon in at 1/2 day Pa Got, a load of sand from Perkins We have as many at barn this week but Courrie, who is shingling by the 1000. Murdy got home in evening, came by Mocasson Wilson brought the times fixings yesterday Ex. & 50. 15-65	1.25 1.75

7	Fine day Jimie put in 4 loads of hay, yesterday. is cutting today. Courie finished shingling the barn & put on the straddle board. Pa paid him $12.50 W.M.F.S. {Womens Foreign Mission Society} met in vestry. my off 25 cts.. Bot at Willie's 1 zink Kettle 25. 1 pkt {force?} 15	12.50 25 40
8	Rained and drizzle all last night now 3. P.M. looks fair.
9	Fine bright day, wind from W. rain about midnight of 8th. Got 5 lb butter from factory and report. 50 cts. To 2 bars soap 10. Boys put in loads of hay at the village farm. Mrs A.McPherson and Mrs Angus Tobin of Lancaster called and remained to tea. Jimie had Hugh Pidgeon and Ed Pidgeon. Gave Birdie 25 for part of tines fee
