| 15 | Not so frosty but raw. Our cistern pump refused to work. Pa said it was ice. we poured hot water into it and on the out side and we burnt paper around the pipe, still no water Murdy took an 1/8 of the back wall out of the furnice. And found a big hole in the middle drum, he put a tin patch on it Then put Portland cement on it. And masoned up the wall. now we have a roaring fire and no smoke | |
