21. Has all appearance of rain. Mary Grant & Mrs David Crites, and Tassie Dingwall took tea with us. To 2 loaves bread 1 lb kind of cakes, by Jimie. Sowed carrots beans, pease & corn in garden today Pa has Courie fixing fence on old Game ground lot Katy a man colt forgot the day* 10
22. Fine cool day. the shower of yesterday did not lay the dust, in this vicinity
23 Got 2 lbs butter 50 ct. yeast 5. on egg. bill Pan bread Pa's Murdy went to Cornwall. Papa sent for 100 dollars 20
24. Fine day I was not in church. Birdie was not down.
25 Fine day, nothing going on here, to celebrate the day, not even a fire cracker. We have up the flag.
26. No rain. Boys drew a load of hay. Are putting in the posts for fence. from creek to Givins lane. To butter, at Factory
27 Boys putting on the wire web I sold six doz eggs. 13 pr doz. To 1 qrt molasses 15. 1/2 lb 44 ct tick. Pot cheese 25. 65
8 Murdy went last night to Cornwall. Jimie went today drove Katty. I baked some in the stove. Sent Birdie's things by Thomas gave him $1.00
29 Rev A Mathewson preached. text 66 Psalm, 16 verse I made some calls. Mowets, Rev Kenneth, McCrim John A's. & Jerry Sullivans, his wife is very poorly
30 Dry cold day. A pretty large congregation Birdie was here to dinner. Murdy was in Cornwall. Got 100 from D.B. McL. for Papa. D. M. McCrimmon paid 10.00 for last years ground rent of Rufsell house. To 2 lbs steak, 2 lbs sausages {drawing of a right hand with index finger pointing up} 40
