June 1899 the mosquitoes are driven played out—we have had them for one month


18 quite cool today—was raining yesterday and mondays I cut out Jimmie’s pants yesterday They are near done we churned this morning 9½ lbs butter I have now packed over 22 lbs butter. Duncan and Jimmie are out at Mayors putting up two gates


20 Esther had a calf—a bull—thought it was about May 20th


21 we took Esther and calf home today I finished Jimmie’s coat and pants and made Maggie’s pants today


23 churned 10 lbs butter today
