June 1899 the mosquitoes are about played out—we have had them for one month


18 quite cool today—was raining yesterday and monday I cut out Jimmie’s pants yesterday They are near done we churned this morning 91/4 lbs butter I have now packed over 22 lbs butter. Duncan and Jimmie are out at Majors putting up two gates


20 Esther had a calf a bull thought it was out at Major's


21 we took Esther and calf home today I finished Jimmie’s coat and pants and made Murdy’s pants today


23 churned 10 lbs butter today

25 Mosquitoes pretty bad yet a {weasal?} to be up the Branch at Rock Grant’s brother's a big red fellow
