23 Major is ploughing Kintall lot in {Grove?} ground going to sow wheat {written across this} Husherty sold us a pig for 2 bush pease on the 24th

24 Sent Dolley to D. McCrimmmons

26 churned this morning. 7 1/2 lbs butter

" Randolph got a ten cent hat at John A's for 1 doz eggs We had pretty hard frost four nights froze squash cucumbers corn flour potatoes some will recover

27 baked {?} valted the pork we killed yesterday and left the calf out today Charley from {?} $2.00 {?}

27 political meeting at St Raphels tonight one at Mustentos last night

30 yesterday was nominations of Candidates for Local M.P.P. Duncan & Farquhar went and Prentiss followed he came home alone. Mosquitoes very bad I put out tomatoes last night look like rain but it may be smoke that causes the gloomy appearance. they are watering the garden
