18 Had a letter from Sandy today.
19. Fine hot day. boys all working on road. Got 2 lb rice 10 cts E. salts 5. Baked bread today 15
20 Prayer Meeting was conducted by Rev. McLean Murdy got a pair boots at Willie's 3.25 Charged

I got a bonnet at Miss McCrimmon's bonnet was 75. ribbon flower and trimming it 1.25 Bot at Sandy's 2 1/2 yds cloth for Jimie 2.50. 2 1/2 yds for Ran 1.25. 1 3/4 lace 45 cts. 1 pair gloves 1.00 coat & vest of searsuccer. each 1.00 belt 20 Got at D. McCrimmon's 1 parasol 85 at Dan McCrimmon 1 pair gloves 30 sugar 25 {?} Alfred Given was ordained inducted into our church today and there was refreshment given at the manse, And all seemed to enjy themselves 2.00

29. The Sabbath S. pic Nic was today at Hamilton's Island. I had a ride in a little boat, it was very nice. Jimie got a straw hat at J.A.'s 35
30 I was sick all night and done very little today. Got 2 pair B. hose at Willies 1 for Bird 1 for myself 25 cts each. Sold 1 bush potatoes to Alick Collett for 30 cts 50
