| 1. | Far went to Cornwall. I gave him an order on Leitch for all the money of mine in his hands he got $.85.. I gave it to himself for I was owing him 80. for the buggy. Far brought Mrs McCormick and her sister Moorah from Cornwall, to stay all night | |

| 4 | Very fine day. I washed. sent a letter to Murdy with $.18. I borrowed 20 from Far | |
| 5 | I went to see Peggy today. she is in her usual health. And that is not very good | |

| 13. | Been a fine day, and the night is just lovely. Dr. Falkner was in to see Far, who has a touch of rheumatism. he left him four Dover powder, to be taken one every night., and sylinacic acid every four hours, and a teaspoon of salts every morning. | |
