{16 cont.} he came to Kenzie's funeral. We had no Sunday Prayers Meeting since Given went hunting. Pa sold 1 Marriage license this morning One La Traux to Mifs Duff Major
7 It is now 11 P.M. and raining furiously. Pa sent $10 to John Monro Cornwall for flour, We had a nice Meeting at the Lodge tonight not many present got 1 pan bread 25 cts
18 Raining
19 McKillop came in the evening I was not at Prayer Meeting. Hatty came this evening. she is going to the Glen. the Promotion of schoolars is going on this week. Birdie is going to te Black river school
20 Murdy Drove Bird to the B.R. school & Hatty so far as the cheese Factory this Morning McKillop was disappointed in getting to Lancast this evening. Killed old rooster today
21 Got McKillop a ride to Lancaster with Bentley Bird & Hatty came at dusk noon. Got 3 pans of brea. 1 luby 50. We milk but once a day. 75
22 Got oatmeal 25 cts 2 loaves pans 50. pa is hoping to settle with Pigeon. 75
23 I did not go to church today
24 Fine day. Bot molasses 23 cts. Brown sugar 15 cts cream tartar 5) 48
25 Another fine day. toward evening it began to rain quit about 7 P.M. And turned cold. Josephine Grand. had her baby. & Mamie were visiting us this afternoon Lilly & Daisy J.A. were here too. Murdy brought home the Colts and calves yesterday
26 Very fine bright day, and a lovely moonlight night people skating on the river. We bot 2 pans yesterday 50 cts. Auntie gave 25 for 1 pan I was at prayer meeting tonight. had a large meeting There is to be a Social in connection with the church on Christmas night 25
