| 20 | We all went to hear the McRae's last night paid 1.75. the Lodge meets tonight |
| 21 | Wednesday. The Annual meeting of the Agricultural society met here today And they agreed to hold two fair yearly, one here and one at Alexana {Alexandria} we subscribed for the Canada Farmer 100 pr year |

| 23 | Sabbath School entertainment quite a large gathering of people. The children done well There was a Mr Casson from Montreal who gave an object lesson to the children. he had a number of candles and tallow & wax and compared their light to Christians. And showed how drink would put out a Christians light "by putting a bottle over the flame of the candle |
