J.A.B. And I went to the Gore. I took rags to the weaver. We went to Uncle Donalds it began to rain, cleared up, we started for home got more rain. it is showery yet 9 P.M. Pa paid Carr 33 for last weeks steak. And got 4 lb steak 6 lb roast 9 - 54.

25 Rained some. We got the little cook-stove that was at Aunts. And done some baking
26 Was fine until 11 A.M, then rain came on
27 Fine in morning the boys put in some hay Whitford put in one load here today had to take home all the horses they were in the pease, And some of Tom Human's horses with them I had a letter from Far, 5 lb stew = 30
28 Rain at 6 A.M. & 3 P.M. Pa Murdy & Ran at hay. Jimie went to Martintown About this assessment. Had a letter from Far. with P.O. order for Bird
29 10. P.M. Jimie & Cousin Jimie drove to Alexandria yoday. Pigon worked with the other boys put in the home 2 1/2 loads of hay. it began to rain at 5. P.M.
