Far went to the North Branch last evening, John Bush was selling new maple syrup yesterday. Jimie went home with Hatty this afternoon

27 Sunday. Lassy had a bull calf today she required a good deal of assistance it was coming {around?}. fortunately Cousin Donald came.
28 Fine day Murdy went today to Lochiel with Brown. Marion got a compas 25 Cousin Don here, he is getting signers to a petition to give to the Licenses Commifsioners. This is my birthday. Pa got codfish 20
29 Pa got 1 bottle of Herbine 25 25
30 Fine day. Jimie had Prue boy, Murdy afternoon. Tuesday morning, he was alone today Dolly and Lassy are improving. Brown and Murdy came this evening
31 Brown went off today. Jimie had Collette at 75 pr day. Murdy went to bush with Jimie. Got 2 yds cotton 10 cts. 1 paper needle B linen thread 1/4 lb. 25. paid acc. at J.A's 1.20. And crackers 25. The month has come out fine. a lot of snow on the ground. 15 25 1.45
