April 1892

1 Friday. Fine day. Boys brought home syrup last night. I baked it today. Paid the carbolic 25 cts
2 Fine day. got butter 66 apples 30. milk 30 pepper. starch 18 cts. Jimie tooth 50. paid Collett 1.50 1.20
3. I was not in church. The water is rising on the field and in the creeks
4. The water is very high. Murdy did not go to Cornwall today. Far got wood to go to Alexandria. And walked to Lancaster. the roads are fearfully flooded.
5 Murdy went today
6 Fine day. I was not at Prayer Meet.
7 Womans Meeting at A.C. McDonalds I did not go Paid Institute $100 1__
8 Friday Paid Prue 60. cts for boy. Laroque 75 Got 3lbs butter 60. 1 gall coal oil 25 Gave Jimie & Randy each 30. for Temple 1.35 85 60
9 Dull day began to rain and snow
10 Cold. I was not in church
11 Jimie went to empty the kittles and he took a bad cold MrsSlack paid 400 And got a receipt. Got 1 gall coal oil Saturday {?}
12 Jimie in bed most of day. Pa is not getting any better. No sap. Randy got a tooth pulled by Falkner on Monday. 50 cts 50
13. Jimie is better went to bush today. he got a menthol plaster yesterday 25 Our McRae helfer had a he calf on Monday. we brained it Dixon for harrow 1.25
14 Pa is sometimes better and sometimes worse Laroque$3.00 .
