May 1892

22 I was in church. not many there
23 Rained all day
24 Got 2 from JC. Boys went to Cornwall to the Games. Ran took first running pole Jump (Chair $3) 2d running high jump (pair booties $2) They did not get home until midnight (Got 1 gall coal oil 20 cts - 4 1/2 lbs sugar 25 cts. I finished sowing the garden 45
25 Mifs Urquhart paid $200 rent Rufus was brought home to us last evening Jimie put a yoke on him and took him to the pasture today
26 Had a Telegram from Uncle Sandy {Giving?} the death of Alick McLeod
27 Rained all day. Gave Ran $1.50 to get a hat
28. Boys went to Montreal to play the Cresents Got 1 lb tea at Gusty's 40 cts
29 Boys came home Cresents took 3 out of 5
30 Very fine day Mercury {up up?}
31 Jimie & I went to Gore to see the sick they are getting better Got 11 from J.C. Misqutoe very bad
