January 1893

1 Sunday. I did not go to church. we got up so late last night that we slept this morning
2 I did not do very much. Went to Hepzabah {Hephzibah} to Prayer Meeting
3 I did not go to prayers tonight.
4 Randy drove Birdie to Apple Hill Prayers were at Mrs Watson's tonight
5 Prayers in St Andrews. To 1 lb tea 40
6 Jane Flemming paid $.600 for rent The W.F.M.S. {Womens Foreign Mission Society} at Mr Given's yesterde I paid 1.00 for fee 25. offering. 55 for Library
7 Birdie & Sarah. came from Martintown with the mail last evening
8 Not very cold today. Professor Fergusson preached
9 Gave Jimie 50. Ran & J.C. left for Kingston today. Pa gave Ran $40. J. 10
10 Tuesday. Jimie, Sarah & Birdie went to pic nic school house. ? with a number of the T. Council to organize a Council
11. Mercury was down to 20 this morning
12 Mercury down to 24 this morning.
13 The T. Council are preparing to have A number of Neighboring Lodges visit them tonight. Duncan & Bella came.
14 The reception last night was good. Gave Marion pair rubbers flannel lining Mercury is up And it is snowing

Mrs Slack paid $8.00 of rent on the 10th
