16 1st Meeting of Councillors. G.H.McG. Clerk, R.S. Trustee Got 1 lb tea 35 Got 84 lbs. rooled oats. 2.86 35
17 Bird & Jimie went to Maxville to attend the Sabbath School convention
18 The folk got home from the Convention at 8 P.M. Mack McMartin was married to a widow Grant tonige at the Manse.
19 There was an Election of a Trustee for the Public School, W. Slack & D.R. McDonell, the contest was pretty brisk. I gave a vote myself so did Birdie, all the deasent {decent} women voted for Slack
20 The village is quite today. D.R. was the successful Candidate. Far went to Alexandria today. And got home about 6. P.M. We got 1 gall coal oil at John A's 18 cts 18 P
21 Far left here this morning to go to Florida
22 The red rag is flaunting
23 About 50 of the Royal Templers went to wish Mack & Wife joy. they spent a social evening.
24 Pa & Jimie drove Sable to Cornwall Birdie went by train. Pigon gave 50 cts
25 Snowing. Jimie went to Martintown with W. Slack to attend the District Council of R. T. Got at J.A's 25 lb light 1 brown sugar. $1.00 Expressed 1 parcel to Ran 25 1-25
26 Been a fine day. looks like rain. Jimie came home about 8.30 P.M. Pa paid the ballance on his account at Willies $8.50
