September 1893

1 Friday. The boys put in the last of the oats for Farqurhson. 7 loads

Mr & Mrs Given came home tonight

I sold 5 lbs butter got 100 bot 7 yds "10 cts" linen for roller towels and duebill 30 I have a Kind of face ache

2 The Cadets had a pic nic at Tom Hunans bush this afternoon. There was some rain today. Boys finished our oats today. Farquherson cut it
3 Sunday. Rain again, an ugly day Marion got a History 65 cts last night. 65
4 Birdie went to Cornwall to attend the High school. Pa went up on business Jimie got 1 Belledona plaster 25 cts Bot 3 qrts blueberries 25 cts. We had Gray frost last night And past Saturday night 25 25
5 Looked like rain all day. Had a letter from Bird she wants books
6 Had Harriet washing. gave her 40 cts Got yeast 70 Mailed 3 books to Bird 13 1 pan bread 20. Got 1 bot E. Oil last night 20. R.C. Pic Nic at Glenwis 40 23 20 20
7 Rained all day baked. not good. Got two loaves 10. sent papers to Far
8 Fine day. Pa took out the spruce tree that was by the front gate. Bot 1 box crackers 25 Mrs. J. A & Daisy spent a couple of hours here 25
9. A fine day I was busy 3 lb tick 30 settled with Bousie on the 9th 30
10 I was in church. D.J. Fraser had a baby Christned, Margaret
11 Had Harriet 1/2 day washing 25. Got 1 box sidlley {seidlitz?} powders 15 cts 14 lbs beef 96 96
12 The first day of fair Minne Clark came to see us
