April 1930

24 Thursday Cold + windy. The men were working at the old porch. Sam Horst spent the afternoon with them.

25 Friday Cold and windy. Walter went to Elmira this forenoon. This p.m they worked at the old porch. Milton Snider and Jus. Mogk called. Vernon went to League tonight

26 Saturday Fair with cold wind. The men were bagging grist this morning and Walter had it chopped at Floradah this afternoon. Sam Horst brought this seed grain to the cleaned and was here for finner. Ella raked the lawn this afternoon.

27 Sunday Fair and not quite so cold although the wind is not warm. We all went to church and S.S this morning. There was no service as Mr.Becker is away at Conference in Zurich and went to the {illegible} United church this p.m Vernon called at Reisto had his supper at Otto Miller's and went to Elmira tonight.
