May, 1930.

30 Friday. Cold & windy. Drizzly this morning. Walter went to Alma Floradale & Elmira this morning and Vernon harrowed the mangel ground. This p.m. they were plowing turnip ground. Tonight Vernon visited Addison Reist's and Walter spend the evening at Harvey Schmidt's.

31 Saturday. Clear & windy Not much warmer. The men were plowing and harrowing this forenoon. This p.m. Vernon was rolling and Walter was painting. Tonight Vernon went to Elmira with Louis Miller's. Mr. Mrs. Milton Cool and son Karl, Mrs. Koch Sr. and Emerson Krauter called tonight after Ella was in bed.

Died - On June 3 Mrs. Ges. Schneider aged years
