Tuesday 27th Oct. 1908. fine 12 hrs hauled turnips & finished harrowing them out. had Walkers boys helping and I went to Henlock Young's Funeral. he was killed by his Traction Engine.


Wensday 28th wet 2 hr hauled two {lbs?} turnips in morning and. chored rest of the day. put lime on cow stands & under the plants I waked hands to thrashing. got hair cut. 20¢ horse shod. 75. Groceries $ 1 45. ordered 1000 sheets for entry of Ruffle sheep.


Thursday 29th fair We finished turnips today 14 we hauled 12 loads. had Walkers boys helping E.P. Rosebud 7th aborted bull.


Friday 30th fair We Thrashed today had 1 man from Flick. Ford. Harvey, Telford, Friendship Barber & Mc Dougall. we finished at 4 P.M.


Saturday 31st fair & cool I went to mill. with 15 bags Chop 12 0.3 per, Pd. I also pd account in full 75¢. and bot barley chop $5.30 Willie was at Fords Thrashing in morning & Barbers in Afternoon
