Mar. 28 Wednesday 28 Nice thawed some, but the weird was cold. Melba & I washed & Melba ironed. John split wood. Marslie was up all day. He home Melbo;s things, all done for tomorrow might. Took the masonie banquet.

Mar. 29 Thursday 29 Cloudy, & a cold wind. Thawed a little. But very cold to night. Harry came & took Maudie Melba to st Thomas, to the Masonie banquet, to night. I am piecing a churn-dash for Maudie. John drew some manure & then split wood. Augene got a {illegible} for Mrs. Appleford.
