Sept. 28 Friday 28. Nice day, but cold, and very cold tonight. Mother and I went out to choir practice. Mr. Home was here hunting for a lost dog. Mother stayed at the Arnolds tonight.

Sept. 29. Saturday 29. Lovely day. Dad helped George fill [silo?] today. Mother, Maud and I went to St. Thomas this afternoon. Mr. Simons and Mr. McConnell were out to see about the furnace. Started Maud's plaid dress.

Sept. 30. Sunday 30. Lovely day. Maud went out for the Arnold girls and they had supper with us. Then we all went to church. After church we went in to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and then went and bid the McLays goodbye. Maud and dad were over to see Mr. Condon this morning. Dad was away with the car this afternoon.
