February THURSDAY, 4 (35-331) 1904
Skidding. 41 poles. -5˚ One of the wildest storms all day. West.
FRIDAY, 5 (36-330)
Milder. Zero. No roads broke E. to town with chop. Skidding & cutting. Tried to get mail but no trains into Wiartin since Monday. Sent Fire Ins. money by cheque 6.20.
SATURDAY, 6 (37-329)
A thaw. Snow settling, falling off bushes. wind S.W. Drew up wood & turnips. Made a rack for {Jumper}. Dug out canvas canoe from 5 ft snow.
