also saw trained canary birds - 'music' on goblets, Punch & Judy etc. etc. Came out & went down street to a grocers where we had a picnic dinner on their table. Then went back to circus. E.M. had a hard squeeze to get tickets. Dan took charge of Jennie & I. Bot us reserved seats & tickets for concert after. Saw beautiful wild animals & Jumbo a large elephant 12 or 13 ft high. Good performance in the circus ring. But very warm. Six o'clock when we got home to N.G.'s. Sarah & Nettie were escorted home to N.G.'s by Alf. Alton. Sarah & I went to Wallace's to get our satchell & stayed for tea. Then came back to N.G.'s - gave it to them to fetch home in wagon. We came home on 9 o'clock train, as we went. Will Spears & Brimby
