Tues. 7th Sarah & I have been getting ready to-day to go to Copeton. O. Triller & Miss Harvey came this afternoon while E.M. & Maria were extracting honey. Emily was sick and they could not stay to the prayer meeting & committee meeting appointed to see about a garden party at Mr. Hickson's. Jennie Wild came here after driving Mandy & Mrs. Wild down to meeting. M. Le. went down with Emily. Katie Dorland was coming down the lane when our dog (Rover) ran up at her and would have bitten her but she called for me and I ran up and stopped him. We had a nice time.
