Sunday Aug. 15th.
Beautiful day with sunshine and good west breeze. Had Morning swim (in wings). Charlie, Mother and Doug Nickle arrived about 1.30. Charles, Isabel, Charlie, Margaret, Alice, Keith, Miss Milne, Mrs. Stevens and I went to church. Went for a launch ride after dinner. Hot day with fog at night. Wrote to Mrs. Ryan.
Monday Aug. 16th.
Hot. Had Morning dip. Doug Nickle, Dot, Doug L. Nell, Clare & Duncan went into Wiarton in Charlie's car. Did my own room and Doug Nickle's. Wrote a letter for Charles. Helped get lunch ready. Worked at my centrepiece. Went up for the Mail. Played cards with Doug Lillico while the rest played bridge.
Tuesday Aug. 17th.
Hot day but nice breeze. Had Morning dip - felt as if I made some progress this Morning. Did my room and Doug's. Puttied the rest of the windows. Finished my centrepiece. Alice (sn) and I took Mother for a row in the Jutland. Played seven-up with Nell and Duncan
