and refused a tow by all calling one 'no' at once. Campers Association Meeting here so spent the evening at Charlie's cottage playing solitaire & seven up with Doug L & Isabel.

Tuesday Aug. 24th.

Had my first swim without water wings. Find I can go alright. Swam 19 strokes, before I came out, without stopping. Wrote to Mr. Caldwell and an address for Bud which was not used after all. Worked at my centrepiece. Went for a ride away out in the Lake in the Naidauac. After dinner Charlie, Mother, Mrs. Start, Alice and the baby left for Chesley. Cool so had a fire in the evening and we all went to bed at 9 p.m. Charles made it in 42.

Wednesday Aug. 25th.

Swam from the end of the dock (deep hole) to the dock ladder. Washed out My Clothes. Shampooed My hair. Jim Ross, Telford Biehn, Jim Hetherington and Staffer
